This method only works for DRM free games. Online multiplayer functionality most likely won’t work. If you would like online multiplayer to work, check out online-fix.me to patch your game (use Ublock Origin).
Why use SteamTools instead of [other piracy method]?
SteamTools + LuaTools allows you to easily update your pirated games, track playtime, install workshop mods seamlessly, and use Cloudsaves!
1. Install SteamTools
SteamTools is a Lua script injector. This sounds scary but it’s just tricking your Steam application into thinking you own a game. This is all done locally so the possibility of your account getting banned is low. Steam servers will not recognize you playing any game you pirate through this method.
2. Install Millenium
In Poweshell, run this script:
iwr -useb "http://steambrew.app/install.ps1" | iexThis will automatically install Millenium. Millenium is a mod for Steam that allows you to use skins and plugins for the Steam desktop application.
3. Install LuaTools

LuaTools is an addon for Millenium that will work in conjunction with SteamTools. It’s the tool that will automatically find the proper lua scripts to install the games you want to pirate!
4. Installing Games
When running Steam after you’ve installed everything, click the “Steam” button in the top right section of Steam’s window and in the drop down menu, click “Millenium”. In “Plugins” make sure LuaTools is enabled. Once enabled click “Save Changes” and reload Steam.
You’ll notice new buttons on game store pages.
To install a game via SteamTools, click “Add via LuaTools”. Once it downloads the necessary files, click “Restart Steam”. On startup, Steam will ask you if you’d like to install the game you’ve added via LuaTools.
That’s It!
If your antivirus software claims LuaTools is a virus, it is absolutely a false positive. These programs have been tested and scanned by me.

Using SteamTools to pirate DLC won’t always work. Instead use these tools (officially supported by FMHY):
