Installation Guide

Setting Up Azahar

• Download Azahar and install it.
• Create a folder for your games within your Azahar installation folder. You can name it whatever you want.

• Download Mario Kart 7.
• Run azahar.exe. In Azahar, click on File > Install CIA and select 1.MARIO KART 7 .cia.

• Click on File > Install CIA, then select 2.Mario Kart Update 1.2 .cia.

• Download CTGP-7 and install it in Azahar. To do this, click on File > Install CIA and select CTGP-7_Downloader.cia.

• Launch CTGP-7 in Azahar and follow the prompts. The installation may take a few minutes.
• Before playing CTGP-7, run Mario Kart 7 once!

Setting Up Your Controls

At the top toolbar, click Emulation and in the dropdown menu click Configure.

The game works great on keyboard too! Here’s my keyboard setup.

Copy

A = Accelerate (accept)
D = Brake (decline)
S = Drift
Space = Item
Shift = Look behind
Arrow Keys = Turn

Extra Options

Press select on the main menu.

Select Gameplay Features and enable Backwards Camera and Speedometer.

• In Speedometer settings, you can select mph and the style of your speedometer.

Go back to the original menu and select Game Settings.

• Select custom character manager and pick some cool characters!

How to create your own Mii

1. Download Mii Maker and install it in Azahar.
2. Download Mii fix and install it in Azahar.
3. Make a Mii in the Mii Maker channel!

How to install mods

Finding the MyStuff Folder

First, locate your MyStuff folder.

• Right click on the windows icon and click run.

In the Run window type %appdata% and click OK.

In the Roaming folder you’ve just entered, find the Citra folder. Then open the sdmc folder. Next, open the CTGP-7 folder. Lastly, open the MyStuff folder.

Installing Custom Characters

Open the Characters folder in MyStuff. Drag and drop character mod files in that folder. Files should have the .chpack file extension.

Installing Custom Karts

Open the Karts folder in MyStuff. Next, open the Kart folder. Drag and drop your custom kart files and replace the old ones.
